When the opportunity of a lifetime presents itself, most people jump at the chance.
That鈥檚 exactly what 糖心传媒 junior music student, Morgan O鈥橬eill, from Cheyenne, Wyoming, did.
In October, O鈥橬eill鈥檚 vocal instructor, Dillon Beede, submitted O鈥橬eill鈥檚 name for a chance to participate in a musical theatre masterclass, sponsored by the West Central National Association of Teachers Singing (NATS).
On November 29, Beede told O鈥橬eill the news that she was selected as one of the participants 鈥斕 one of just seven students in the region, which Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado and Kansas
The class was taught by Broadway actress Leslie Kritzer, who premiered the role of Delia and Miss Argentina in the Broadway musical, Beetlejuice.
The class was held via Zoom, and each participant was able to sing for Kritzer and then receive critiques and advice from the actress. O鈥橬eill sang 鈥淪he Used to Be Mine鈥 from the musical 鈥淲aitress鈥 and 鈥淧oor Wand鈥檙ing One鈥 from 鈥淧irates of Penzance.鈥
