Textbooks
Textbooks are not available at the Spirit Shop 鈥 but we do have a partnership with to make it easier for you to find and buy the course materials you need.
Here鈥檚 how the process works:
Before you register for classes, you can view (textbooks, software, etc) chosen by your instructor. Once you register, it鈥檚 your responsibility to have those materials by the first day of class.
If you want to purchase through Akademos, log in with your HC credentials and your upcoming term schedule will already be integrated and there will be a listing of required textbooks for each of your enrolled classes.
If you select a digital textbook, the redemption code will be delivered to your e-library within their portal.
If you select a physical textbook, it will be shipped to our campus library for pickup unless you choose to have it shipped to your home address.
If you prefer not to use , there are many third-party textbook sources available with both rental and purchase options including Amazon, Chegg and others.
The choice is yours.
