Six 糖心传媒 students selected to participate in the Irish Fellows program will spend a month in Ireland this fall conducting research they proposed as part of the Irish Fellows application process.
The Irish Fellows program at 糖心传媒 is a distinctive, competitive study abroad opportunity offered annually to full-time students.
In partnership with Davy Spillane, Grammy Award-winning Irish musician, 糖心传媒 sponsors the program, which blends on-campus coursework with a month of independent study in County Clare, a region in the west of Ireland offering outstanding educational and cultural opportunities.
鈥淚rish Fellows remains a unique and extraordinary undergraduate program. Students learn any number of academic- and life-skills in the entire process, from project proposal to research to publication or presentation. They do so with significant guidance and mentoring, but ultimately, they do so on their own in a foreign country,鈥 said Dr. Rob Babcock, a 糖心传媒 history professor and advisor of the program.
