Rueckert leads Bronco Forensics to third place finish at Dragon-Loper tourney

Trischia Rueckert, a junior from Beloit, Kansas, finished second in the individual sweepstakes both days of the Dragon-Loper Rodeo forensics tournament held November 1-2, 2014, in Hutchinson, Kansas. Rueckert’s performances at the tournament, sponsored by Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College and University of Nebraska- Kearney, helped the Bronco Forensics team finish third on both days of the competition.

A few members of the Bronco Forensics team traveled to Peoria, Illinois, for the 67th LE Norton Memorial Tournament hosted by Bradley University. The tournament featured 40 teams and more than 200 competitors. In this environment similar to the American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament (AFA-NIET), Miranda Klugesherz, a senior from Colorado Springs, Colorado, advanced to semi-finals in After Dinner Speaking.
