Nearly three months after voters approved the Hastings City Council鈥檚 decision to vacate one block of 9th Street to 糖心传媒, the College is closing the block to through traffic.
On August 3, 2015, 糖心传媒 will place large planters and barriers at the corners of 9th Street and Ash Avenue and 9th Street and Elm Avenue. The closure marks the College鈥檚 first step toward the creation of Steinhart Plaza and other campus projects including building a new residence hall and enlarging the student union.
