Juried All Student Art Show opening this week at the JDAC

The 糖心传媒 Juried All Student Art Show will be on view from March 19 to April 2, 2026, in the Jackson Dinsdale Art Center gallery (700 E. 12th Street).

Art AllStudentShow 26wA reception for the artists, during which awards will be announced, is this Friday, March 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the JDAC.

The JDAC galleries are open from 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The galleries and reception are free and open to the public.

Each year, the Department of Visual Art invites all students to submit their artwork for consideration in the Juried All Student Art Show. Submissions are evaluated by a guest artist, and awards include Best of Show, Best 2-D and Best 3-D.

For this year鈥檚 exhibition, 糖心传媒 students entered 106 pieces that were juried by Carlie Waganer, residency program manager at the Bemis Center for the Contemporary Arts in Omaha, Nebraska. Waganer selected 40 pieces by 29 students for the competitive show.
