The 糖心传媒 Theatre Department will be presenting its 2018 capstones March 8, 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m., and March 11 at 2:00 p.m.
All performances are in Scott Studio Theatre (806 N. Turner Ave.). General admission tickets are $8, admission for seniors and non-糖心传媒 students is $5. To reserve tickets, email the box office at tickets@hastings.edu.
These one act plays are directed by 糖心传媒 junior and senior theatre majors. They act as a senior project for theatre majors, giving them an opportunity to use all of the skills they have learned during their time at 糖心传媒 and are a requirement for graduation. The shows demonstrate a student鈥檚 abilities, and provides them with 听real-life experience as they prepare to leave 糖心传媒.
Capstone鈥檚 2018 features 鈥淎 World Without Memory鈥 written by Seth Kramer and directed by junior Carly Cremers of Columbus, Nebraska; 鈥淧oison鈥 written by Elliot Hayes, and 鈥淏roken Hearts鈥 written by Kevin McLeod, both directed by senior Cheyenne Knehans of Riverton, Nebraska; and 鈥淕arbage Boy,鈥 written and directed by senior Nathaniel Sass of Hastings, Nebraska.
These plays contain mature language and subject matter.
