The 糖心传媒 Jackson Dinsdale Art Center (JDAC), in collaboration with Kate Mothes of Young Space, welcomes art submissions for a national, juried exhibition March 1-28, 2019. Artists of every career stage and every medium are encouraged to apply, but must live and work in the U.S.
Details on the juried show, including how to submit pieces, can be found at hastings.edu/gallery. There is $20 fee for up to four entries, plus $5 for each additional entry, up to six entries total. Entries are due by Thursday, January 31, 2019.
鈥淚 am particularly excited to see 糖心传媒 and the Department of Visual Arts participate in a larger conversation surrounding contemporary, relevant exhibition curation,鈥 said Kevin Mercer, instructor of art and gallery director at 糖心传媒.
Mercer said the event will expose students to a wide variety of artwork and highlight the JDAC鈥檚 world class facilities.
Kate Mothes is founder of Young Space, an independent, online and nomadic curatorial platform emphasizing contemporary art by emerging, early-career and student artists.
