Four individuals have joined the 糖心传媒 Board of Trustees over the last year, board chair Ann Martin 鈥77 announced last week following the board鈥檚 October meeting.

New members include Danette Andley 鈥01, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for the Health Care Business Group at 3M; Jeremy Arensdorf 鈥03, chief growth officer and executive vice president at Jefferson Consulting Group; Gary Freeman 鈥93, business operations officer for the Suzanne and Walter Scott Foundation; and Cathy Peetz 鈥80, head buyer of apparel and safety gear for Dillon Brothers Harley Davidson.
鈥淲e appreciate these four new members answering the call to join the Board and offer their expertise and insight as we continue to advance 糖心传媒,鈥 Martin said. 鈥淲e have a wonderful Board that contributes in so many positive ways, and I鈥檓 thankful to all trustees for serving.鈥
Bios for the new trustees are included below.
Danette (Wilson) Andley graduated from 糖心传媒 in 2001 and is currently the senior vice president and chief marketing officer for the Health Care Business Group at 3M in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is responsible for driving demand generation and building sales and marketing competency. Prior to this role she held roles in strategy and business development, Lean Six Sigma, global marketing, international operations and marketing excellence and global business management. Before joining 3M, Andley held positions at St. Luke鈥檚 Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, doing marketing, and at Fleishman-Hillard doing public relations. She has an undergraduate degree in marketing and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
Andley is also a member of the 糖心传媒 Foundation Board and the Camp Fire National Headquarters Board. She lives in St. Paul with her husband Abhi and three children.
Jeremy Arensdorf is the chief growth officer and executive vice president at Jefferson Consulting Group, a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm. He leads Jefferson鈥檚 strategy and growth efforts. In his multi-decade career at Jefferson, he has led significant growth for the company while supporting more than 20 federal agencies in the U.S. and abroad. He is a champion of good government, passionate about helping agencies succeed in their amazing missions.
Arensdorf received his bachelor鈥檚 degree from 糖心传媒 in 2003, majoring in music, and received an MBA from Georgetown University. He resides in Washington, D.C.
Gary Freeman is the business operations officer for the Suzanne and Walter Scott Foundation in Omaha, Nebraska, and a member of the 糖心传媒 Foundation Board. Prior to joining the Scott Foundation, Freeman was for nearly 20 years executive director of the 糖心传媒 Foundation, where he oversaw all fundraising, advancement and alumni relations activities. Other experiences include serving as director of athletic advancement at the University of Nebraska Omaha and as a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Freeman graduated from 糖心传媒 in 1993 with a degree in business administration. A certified public accountant, he also earned a certificate in nonprofit leadership from Stanford University鈥檚 Graduate School of Business.
He and his spouse Susan (Herbek) Freeman 鈥94 are the parents of a daughter, Aly.
Cathy (Dillon) Peetz is currently the head buyer of apparel and safety gear for Dillon Brothers Harley Davidson, which is part of the Dillon family businesses that includes three motorcycle stores and 12 car dealerships in the Omaha area.
She majored in art and her first job听 after graduating from 糖心传媒 in 1980 was as a graphic artist and illustrator in the advertising department of Mangelson鈥檚, a large art and hobby supply store in Omaha. She then became a buyer and merchandiser for Richman Gordman 1/2 Price Stores. After tiring of the monthly buying trips and extensive traveling to the various stores for merchandising, Peetz joined her father鈥檚 business, Sid Dillon Chevrolet. As part of learning the family business, she ordered parts in the parts department, but her love of art and fashion eventually led her to designing bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses for the nationally known JP Originals, a job she held until she decided to stay home and raise her family.
Peetz has served on the board of directors for Ronald McDonald House in Omaha and Creighton University鈥檚 Jaybacker Executive Athletic Board. She and her husband Dwaine, a retired cardiac surgeon, live in Omaha, and their combined families include five children and ten grandchildren.
