More than 200 high school students from 36 schools across Nebraska will be at 糖心传媒 for the eighth annual Jackson Dinsdale Art Center Mural Day Competition on Wednesday, October 4.
Working in teams, students from each school will create 36 x 60 inch vinyl murals using paint, which will then be judged by 糖心传媒 senior art majors. The creative theme for the competition is not announced until the 10:00 a.m. welcome. This provides a challenging and fun event for students!
The top three teams receive awards. After the event, teams are allowed to take their murals to hang in their high schools. Teams will design and create their artwork outside in the parking lot between the JDAC and Gray Center (1100 N. Elm Avenue).

Painting is 10:30 am to 2:00 pm
The best time for photos/video/interviews is 12:00 to 2:00 pm
Awards are at 3:00 pm.
