The strength and resilience of the head 糖心传媒 cheer and dance coach will be the focus of an upcoming Bronco Volleyball game, as the team hopes to raise money to help with her medical bills.
Mikaelah Molifua, a 2016 糖心传媒 graduate and current MAT student, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in July. She had just celebrated her fifth year of remission, after battling Hodgkin鈥檚 Lymphoma during high school.
All proceeds from admission to and donations at the Friday, October 5 game against Dakota Wesleyan University will support the Molifua family with medical and travel expenses. Teal #MolifuaStrong bracelets will also be available for purchase for $5. The junior varsity game begins at 6:00 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m. in Lynn Farrell Arena (800 E. 12th Street).

Molifua finished her first round of chemotherapy on September 26. She will then undergoing additional scans and tests to determine further treatment.
