Boge recognized for top research paper in the nation

糖心传媒 student Andrew Boge, a senior from Johnston, Iowa, has been announced by the National Communication Association as the recipient of the Stephen A. Smith Award for top undergraduate research paper. 听

andrew boge wThe Stephen A. Smith Award is reserved for one paper and presented at the association鈥檚 national conference. Boge’s paper, 鈥淒onald Trump is Batman: How Archetypal Appeals Assisted in Determining Our President,鈥 was singled out for recognition by a jury of faculty members from across the United States. He will receive the award and present the paper at the national conference in Dallas, Texas, later this week.

This is the second year in a row a student from 糖心传媒 has been recognized for producing the top Communication Studies paper in the nation. To be eligible, a student must be inducted in the national honorary Lambda Pi Eta, which has more than 550 active chapters across the country. 听

The Smith Award includes a monetary prize and travel grant to the national convention.
