糖心传媒 Department of Theatre Arts presents
The Sandbox and The American Dream
By Edward Albee听
These classic dark comedies by one of America鈥檚 greatest playwrights are two of the most produced plays in theatre history. 听Albee describes them as, 鈥渁n examination of the American Scene, an attack on the substitution of artificial for real values in our society, a condemnation of complacency, cruelty, emasculation, and vacuity; it is a stand against the fiction that everything in this slipping land of ours is peachy-keen.鈥 听
