Adjunct Instructor of Voice

Tyler Koepp is an adjunct instructor of voice at 糖心传媒. He also proudly serves as the vocal music educator for Grand Island Central Catholic. At GICC, he directs all choirs grades 3-12. He is also the stage and music director for GICC鈥檚 highly regarded spring musicals where well over half of the high school is involved. His choirs have consistently received superior ratings and positive comments at various music festivals and competitions including prestigious venues like New York鈥檚 Carnegie Hall. In 2024, he was awarded the 鈥淥utstanding Educator Award鈥 from the Nebraska Theater Academy.听

Mr. Koepp holds a Bachelors of Music from 糖心传媒 in both Music Education and Vocal Performance, and a Masters of Music Education with an emphasis in Voice Pedagogy from Wichita State University – where he served as a graduate assistant for the department of music education. While at WSU he studied voice under Alan Held and voice pedagogy under Michael Sylvester.

Mr. Koepp has maintained a large private voice studio for the last decade and a half, benefitting hundreds of students across the tri-city area. He has performed opera overseas and in the US – and performed or directed over a dozen regional musicals. Some of his credits include Belcore from Donizetti鈥檚 L’Elisir D鈥橝more, Ben from Menotti鈥檚 The Telephone, and has performed a wide array of opera scenes for the public.听

Tyler and his wife Rosalie have been blessed to raise their two favorite singers, Madelyn and Elise.
