Rondall Reynoso is an artist and scholar with a professional record of over 90 solo and group exhibitions. His work has been shown at venues including Denise Bibro Fine Art (NYC), St. James Cathedral (Seattle), Regent College (Vancouver), Brehm Center for the Arts (Pasadena), Luce Center for the Arts and Religion (DC), the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Parsons School of Design. Reynoso was one of seven North American artists selected by the Nagel Institute for a cross-cultural seminar in Indonesia, resulting in an international traveling exhibition.
In his studio practice, Reynoso utilizes formal abstraction to explore sociological and spiritual metaphors, including using the boundaries between the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional as a metaphor for the relationship between the spiritual and the corporeal.
His scholarship has been published in academic and popular outlets and presented at conferences such as the American Academy of Religion and the Conference of Faith and History.
An experienced educator, Reynoso has taught at California College of the Arts, Lee University, and the Graduate Theological Union. He holds a BFA, MS, and MFA from Pratt Institute, and a PhD in Art & Religion from the Graduate Theological Union, where his research focused on art history and aesthetics.
