Dr. John Nies, a 1962 糖心传媒 graduate, is a retired professor and administrator living in Denver, Colorado. Nies served in numerous positions including provost at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, and vice president for academic affairs and professor of history at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois, and Yankton College in South Dakota. A consultant on enrollment management, he is former associate vice president for research and development at Noel Levitz.
He earned his master’s degree and doctorate in history from the University of Nebraska鈥揕incoln. He and his wife Linda, a 1961 graduate of Mary Lanning School of Nursing, have four children.
