Hulbert, a sophomore from Aurora, Colorado, received the honor at the show鈥檚 opening reception on Sunday, January 11, 2015. The show continues through January 29, 2015, in the Hastings Art Gallery (711 E. 7th St).听 The gallery is free and open to the public. Its hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Other awards announced at the opening reception were as follows:

Juror鈥檚 Award for Two-Dimensional Art: Katherine Arias, a junior from Lexington, Nebraska, for 鈥淧ost-Post Impressionism鈥 (pictured)

Juror鈥檚 Award for Three-Dimensional Art: Kasey Lammers, a freshman from Grand Island, Nebraska, for 鈥淎n Ode to Tomorrow鈥
