Commencement is scheduled for Saturday, May 17 at 10 a.m. in Lynn Farrell Arena (800 E. 12^th Street). The event, which is free and open to the public, will be livestreamed at hcmediaonline.org.

For the College’s Baccalaureate service on Friday, May 16, 2014, the Reverend Dr. William Nottage-Tacey, a 1972 HC alumnus, will serve as the featured speaker. The event will be held at 6 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church (621 N. Lincoln Ave.) where Dr. Nottage-Tacey serves as Senior Pastor/Head of Staff. It will be livestreamed on the College’s .

Bio for Oleg Kalinskiy ‘98
A native of Pyatigorsk, Russia, Oleg Kalinskiy graduated summa cum laude from ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ in 1998. Currently, he serves as Director General of the Foundation for the Development of the Tube (Pipe) Industry in Russia, an organization promoting the interests of the major Russian tube and pipe producers in Russia and throughout the world.  Kalinskiy’s career has focused on business development for the metals and metallurgy field, serving as Director of Business Development and Marketing with Ernst & Young CIS, Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Alcoa Russia, and Head of the Division of Strategic Development and Resources Optimization in the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology.

Kaliskiy has earned an MA in linguistics (with highest honors) from Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, a PhD in economics (with highest honors) from Rostov State University, and a JD (with highest honors) from the Russian Academy of the Civil Service under the President of the Russian Federation. He is a Professor of Applied Economics at the Moscow Steel and Alloy Technological University. Kalinskiy has written four books and 75 scientific articles on the Russian economy and metals sector.

Bio for the Reverend Dr. William Nottage-Tacey ‘72
The Reverand Dr. William G. Nottage-Tacey is a 1972 graduate of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ and a Bronco Award winner. He is a graduate of San Francisco Theological Seminary 1975. He has been married to Janey Nottage-Tacey since 1975 and they have four children, two of who are graduates of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½.  He has been Senior Pastor/Head of Staff at First Presbyterian Church for the past ten years and is currently a member of the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Board of Trustees. He has done graduate work at the Graduate Theological Union, San Francisco Theological Seminary, Jesuit School of Theology, Trinity Evangelical Seminary. His dissertation study was entitled “Beyond Surival: Thriving in the Rural Pastorate.” Rev. Nottage-Tacey was given an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ in 2004. Bill was awarded the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ President’s Award in 2013.
